Filling up in Longridge yesterday, I came and said what an awesome Disco it is.

(Lifted, massive, chunky tyres on nice alloys, winch bumper & winch, 4 massive spots mounted on a roof bar, metallic blue with loads of stickers. Made all the right noises when pulling away, as only a V8 can ;) )

wasn't me....... but at least I and everyone else reading this thread now have the reg of a road legal blue disco if we want to do any cloning :) and its taxed until next December... bonus :)

lets see how soon the owner starts getting parking n speeding fines he knows nothing about... sure he won't mind :0

Cheers Steve

I never understand this stance on posting regs on the web

They drive around with the reg on display all the time so if someone wants to clone it then they will. Its not like they have posted his full name and address :D

it was a light hearted dig lol however cloning is a nightmare in London with all the traffic cameras, LEZ, congestion and low lives, cloning a local vehicle is always a risk that someone will spot you that knows the real vehicle... however posting details on a worldwide forum makes it a lot easier for someone the other end of the country to clone knowing there is far less chance of getting caught out :)

ie I now have a pretty good idea that I could clone that and not accidentally meet the owner as it was 230 miles away so chances are not local to me... I couldn't get the area of the country from a quick DVLA check.... or know that it is being used on the road so pretty certain it'll be insured and cloned plates wont raise an issue with ANPR

our works Vauxhall astra was cloned and that was 2 years of pain with speeding and parking offences and constantly having to write and explain....

by all means post your own reg and details as much as you want...

Cheers Steve
