disco immobiliser question

stupid question, but does my disco 1, 1991 have an immobiliser fitted as standard?
i assume it doesnt as i aint got any fancy key fob?

need to have/get one for the insurance companies stupid rules. seems i need one, even if i insure it 3rd part only!
numpty plonkers. ive seen tadpoles with more brain cells.
 
aye. im begining to realise that im very lucky to have some seats and windows in it.

just had the same thingt I was quoted, fitted, £110 for Cat2 and £340 for cat 1. Cat 2 is just imobiliser and cat1 is alarm as well. You probably have to get them to fit it as they want the fitting certificate of a certified fitter.
 
just got one off ebay for 20 quid. cat 2.
cert included. just make a stamp thingy out of a potato eh?

aye. its not a landy item. its an autowatch brand. complete kit not an upgrade.

ps. i know about the spider upgrade problem.
