I believe introduceing sush small children to a lifestyle that is wrong and toxic in all levels is irresposable.It promotes alchol and makes kids think its allreet..
Sorry disco but the old feckker is right here...

alkynol is alright, if drunk in moderation. and the pub is/was/should be the hub of our social life. the pubs where i used to live were all child friendly and had outside play areas and so on and we enjoyed a great social life full of interesting conversation with random people. down here the pubs dont let kids in so parents dont go out so as a society we dont socialise which makes us put barriers up and before we know it the person next door is a complete stranger.

i dont like old people, they talk in mumbled riddles and smell of wee, should i go round telling all the old people they shouldnt be in a pub cause i dont like it? everybody has this weird thing called a 'choice' and if the old guy didnt wanna be in a pub where there's kids he had 3 'choices' - move to a different part of the pub, go to a different pub, PUT UP AND SHUT UP. i dont tell others what they should and should not do, and people telling me are met with a very polite fistfull of STFU!!

ok just checking that its ok to talk to someone like they are a complete cnut farkin and blindin in front of their child.....the miserable old **** then went to the local shop where he started shouting,swearing and moaning about the prices and threatened to punch one of the wimmin serving.

One thing that realy ****s me off with this country is that there is a large majority of people who think its theit god given right to tell other people how to behave and what to do...usualy these people are complete wasters to begin with and preach utter bollocks.

yes alcohol is toxic but as my 2 1/2 year old doesnt drink any how will it affect her ?

the communicable diseases you've mentioned are far more prevelant at your local supermarket than at a quiet local pub due to the incresed activity ?

and as i only pop down the pub every couple of weeks for an hour or so at a quiet time i dont see the problem.
