Disco 300tdi and gearbox onto defender chassis

Hi there this may be an obvious question but I have a 300 TDi and gear box out of a disco and want to put into a defender 300tdi chassis. Is this a simple job straight on to the original mounts?

yes but you need a defender gear box top and a adapter kit for selector yoke
