Ur very welcome and always happy to help , thks ref the codes , if u look on ur steering column plse, left hand side , do u see a switch with auto on it , should be below steering wheel on the plastic surrounds

also with ur code reader , will it list what modules u have plse

ps, If I may add, make sure u get another key, ur code reader should be able to reprogram keys , can buy them off ebay for around £20 , just make sure there 433mhz and new

Plse let me know if ur still getting the same errors with modules not working,

also do u have the Following plse,
numbers 1-2-3 on the side of ur drivers seat
Satnav screen in the middle of the dashboard

Just thought and might be wrong , , but didn’t memory seats / powered steering column not come in until 2008 on the SE , so assume if that’s the case it looks like the CCF settings need to be altered to turn them off with them not being there

code reader should be able to list what modules are fitted as I’m thinking that’s why the latest error codes are coming up because the modules are missing

It’s a 2006 HSE
It has nav and memory seats, but doesn’t have an electric steering column.

unfortunately I don’t have the Iid tool that can program keys...I only have an icarsoft (until I can get back to work and earn some money,lol)

For anyone with similar issues or anyone else interested I’ve fixed my problems, I’m not sure of the precise issue but is was definitely related to the passenger footwell part of the loom/area.
I found a couple of the earth points to be slightly rusty, so could be that. I also found that the two connections on the back of the cjb to be not 100% seated....this has obviously been out as the sunroof drain pipes have been replaced.
