Hey guys, long time no see.
I've just bought one of these fancy gap iid tools and wow what a machine. I'm trying to diagnose a fault with the eas.
It's always been cack lifting up the front and now it's getting worse, it's constantly in fault. I've got the iid on it and got it in test mode, if I try and lift the dodgy corner it actually drops rather than go up? It'll recover itself after a while when out of test mode.
Does this sound like s dodgy valve bock?
Ive got a new compressor to go on first, as it looks like the original (with 200k on it). I've checked the air bag and cant find any leaks on it. Driving along it will lift, then put the red eas light on, drop, ping, light goes out, 2 minutes.... repeats itself. After a while it overheats and refuses to lift for a while until it cools down.
I'm at the "fix it with petrol and lighter" stage
