Hi..disco 3.9v8 running very rich..backfiring on overrun, flat up to 2000rpm.
I have checked maf, throttle pot, timing ,sparks etc
anbody got any ideas as apart from that the landy is class!!...kids love it offroading!!

sticky injector or a air leak on the inlet manifold/vac hoses

ECU coolent temp sensor may be, but best to get it pluged in to a diagnostic computer and find out for sure.

cheers ..but i fitted a new temp sensor and all hoses are ok...where can i get it checked on a diagnostics computer, that won't cost me a fortune?

also i do all my own repairs (very clever see!) and am loathed to let anyone else do it..its a labour of love!!!
