nooooooo. get lowering springs, though u was a mechanic mate, dont cut corners on ur own car. lowering springs are a lot stronger

ah im only taking the ****,like the height its at,lowering it would take away the point of having a land rover, but lowered disco's do look well and handel something else with gaz shocks in them

i must be getting senile , didnt realise it was april first, oh well will be my birthday soon.
Not wishing to be the merchant of doom and gloom, but wouldn't it be better to get all the mechanical mods sorted first. Wont cost a fortune but small mods like EGR, de-cat, checking for oil on the loom etc. little things that will catch you out at some point. It's fine to do visual upgrades but not at the expense of ignoring mechanical issues. Good luck :)

thanks but im not like the normal corsa driving 20 year old,iv restored a 2a in 8 weeks by myself and am currently restoring an 81 toyota starlet,so iv drive cars that are WAY older than me and im not a little poncy posser you may think i am

thanks
derek

far from thinking that derek. i was just joking and generalising.:)

coolo,sorry for the missunderstanding.

anyway back on track, seen a disco 2 with chrome wheels today, definatly not doing that!!!!

i dont drink, smoke or do drugs,i spend all my money on cars and restoring them, much more fun than puking my guts up outside a chipper :D

Dont knock it till youve tried it son ;) such things form part of the rich tapestry of life. Some of my fondest memories and long standing friends stem from my debauched years before life, wife and strife took hold :).
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think !:5bparty:

have a look at my upgrades , tell me what you think, got a fusion 1200w sub in the back aswell,
