Hi What is canbus wiring and does it apply to Disco 2

Yes essentially it is a twisters pair of wires that is used for two way flow of information between two ecus and the number of twists in the wire is critical to its correct operation.
on td5 it is a twisted pair on wires that is used for two way flow of information between engine ecu and automatic transmission ecu.
THere may well be other canbus systems on a v8.
