disco 2 td5 & icarsoft diagnostic tool

I have a icarsoft car diagnostic tool LR V2.0 but can’t get it to work on my Land Rover discovery 2 TD5.
Can anyone help or give me any advise?
Hoping someone can help me out.

Hi, Don't forget the the TD5 is NOT OBD2 compliant, so if this tool just a generic OBD reader it won't work.
If you put your rough location in your profile, there may be someone near to help.
