Hi all
Im looking to get a lr d3 on a limited budget

Are the early 2004-2005 models any good or are they plaged with problems?
will probably be a lower spec model without leather and high on miles.
would i be better off with a fully loaded d2 landmark with average miles or the above.

all comments greatly recieved for a "newbie"

Cheers

We have a later Disco 3 with 7 seats and air suspension and it's just in a different league to the old Disco. As a bonus you can have hours of fun fiddling with the settings and dials and there is so much space in a Disco 3 you could hold a golf tournament in it. If you sit in a Disco 3, you'll buy it.

I bought a '53 Disco II Landmark two years ago for just shy of £10k. It was v low mileage (still not done 50k) and mint. I love the TD5 (even after owning a Disco I V8 previously), granted not had any problems with it, except for the trademark leaky sunroofs! Had it re-mapped recently and it tows like a dream. The best thing at the moment (with the current climate) is the heated front screen! Not been in a Disco 3 so can't comment but I would definitely recommend the D2 :)
