So it's "Saudi" not "Safari"... as long as you can see the radiator through it from distance it is OK for cooling but what my friend bought looked very "tight" like the one made by hugdavies and the cooling was compromised as i described

When I got one for my 300Tdi, it was sold as a Sahara grille, designed for better cooling over standard. But now it looks to have been renamed as a Saudi grille.
