Disco 1 reverse camera

Anyone done it?

I'm thinking of fitting one for the Mrs to help her park in town and also simply as a safety measure.

I'm thinking of putting it in the spare wheel and the screen either in the sun visor or down by the difflock.

Any suggestions as to what camera/screen/location to go for?

I've got a 5" screen to go in front of the hi/lo gear stick, need to get my camera yet, but it'll be going on the roof rack to give a decent top down view when reversing.
They're a bit bulky to sit under the sun visor unless you cut it in and set the screen flush. Bit much work I guess...

I bought a head unit that brings up the camera when reverse is selected.
My camera is just to the right of the boot handle.

Keeps everything looking pretty factory as well.

Pretty similar but smaller. Mine is a double din front so no folding parts.

DVD. Sat Nav comes from my phone.

Not at home currently, but the answer is.

The front tilts when you open it to put a cd in and by setting it not to fully close and with the extra bit below the normal stereo hole it fits, just.

If I remember in about two weeks when I'm next at my Landy I'll post it up.
