think the clutch release bearing and fork need changing on my 200tdi disco, its just started to crunch in reverse and cluch is a bit soft ,the fluid is at the top and no loss, what sort of price would be a new clutch and fork fitted, im in barnsley south yorkshire any one reccomend some one to do this close to me:)

got in the disco this morning and struggled to get into gear ,i noticed this yesterday but it got easier through the day, could this be the clutch release bearing failing? the clutch as always been very near the bottom on release but for some reason seem to feel a bit different a bit more spongey when pressed, ive checked the clutch fluid and all is fine, through driving the box is very sweet with no whines or noises, im sure its the fork or bearing, what sort of garage prices is this to fix with new clutch and fork? i havent the tools or space to do this my self and dont want ripping by a garage . thanks pete

hard to say what price it will be , you need to get quotes , and take it from there. clutch kit £80 , then i would say a garage will charge you a days labour plus vat, all depends on there hourly rate....
