back again

right i found my CATS number tried it and it wont work i had three goes and it has frozen me out for 30 mins is there a universal over-ide code or somethining I am supposed to work tonight

Try again .. did this for a friends car when she couldn't do it, the main thing being "make sure it is FULLY returned to the centre (vertical) position" between each operation ... in fact move the key back to just past centre seems to work best.

Getting a bit desperate is there anyway I can disconect the whole alarm and imobiliser and just use the ignition key till i can get a new fob sorted ?

If it was that easy to disable there wouldn't be much point having an immobiliser :doh: Looks like you're going to have to use public transport or borrow/hire a car. & get it shipped to garage or call out an auto electrician.

there is a way to bypass it but it be permanant no going back once its done

you need the EKA code, the CATS is the stereo code
