Yes you can disable the cut out switch, It is done in two ways.
Via the Range Rover computer system, this obviously is not going to be done in a main dealers. Or failing that a specialist with the right equipment.

The other way is a good car hifi installer can do this for you, most BMW owners do it the hifi shop way.

Park up with the engine running save the battery and keep warm at the same time with the heater on, not driving?

Just because someone asks a question that is not considered legal or the right thing to do, does not mean that they are going to do it.

How many people drive with a mobile to their ear knowing it is dangerous, they do not have to do it. Putting cd's in, changing the radio, drinking cans of drinks, the lists are endless.

If you had a smash & yer insurance company found you'd disabled it they'd probably have a thing or two to say like "up yours, pay fer it yerself"!

The bizzies probably wunt be too chuffed about it neither!

Yes, but you don't need it in drive to do that, so don't need to disable anything

well why else would he ask ?

most people do that, but you'll find that the amount of time your eyes are NOT looking at the road is minimal compared to how long you'd be looking at a TV

and before he asks, no we don't know where to get a 12V Sky box from, or a roof mounted dish that automatically tracks as he drives down the M6 at 90MPH

yeah i meant turn the restriction off.May be a n interesting reason why they want it on (the tv when driving) but i cant think of any senisble reasons.
