Here we go again aboot dilemas!
Went and bought all the neccesseries tae do me swivel balls and wheel bearings yesterday:eek: :D
My plan was tae put these on me other bus and then swap the axles over when it's all dun and painted so's ah'm not off the road for any length of time.
Jacked up no.2 and noticed there's a bit of crud and rust...

Do ye's think it's worth goin' ahead, or should ah just stick with no.1's axle?

I was gonna say the same thing! Yeah, clean it up, paint it and then waxoyl it - good as new, albeit a little bit thinner and a touch lighter ;)

Manage tae catch me neighbour in, he welded a nut on and managed tae get it oot fur me:D :D :D
Got the housin' rubbed back and painted now, still waitin' fur sum parts that ah forgot but should be here the morn. once the swivel balls are dun, ah'll get the axle off and hopefully painted this weekend;) :D

Here B... ah hear ye've bin talkin' 'bout me! Ah hope it was all good stuff;) :D
 
Aye course it wuz, was in gettin a new down pipe fur me eggshorst and was just saying to tracey that you was doin up yer axle but she kept callin you by yer proper name which threw me. Think i seen you on the sands on tuesday night bout 5?

Aye, she said she kept correctin' ye or summit:D Was back in again the night gettin' more bits and pieces:rolleyes: ;) Ah widnae be surprised if she telt ye sum o' the daft stuff from when ah was younger:D
Aye ye probably did see me the other night, ah go home that way. It's a bugger when 252's on the way home anaw!!;) :D
 
I get the impression Tracey is definatley the brains of that outfit.
Fitted me noo front pipe the day, bit of a bloody nightmare! you gotta disconnect front prop an all sorts then when you get it in you find some monkey from bosal welded the bolts on wrong so you gotta get it back out and adjust with grinder!!!

Aye, ah'd say she was;) got a tellin' off from her the night, just cos ah didn't see her when ah ordered me parts:eek: was missin' a couple of gaskets, but ah'll get thum the morn;) :D
No sae guid aboot the downpipe. Ah wondered how ye got it out, somebody reckoned ye just wiggle it out from above. It's seemingly a tw@ tae get oot, but can be done without takin' stuff off.
