Hi everyone, finally found a defender 90 which ticked all the boxes! It's a 2002 td5 90.
I won't be doing any serious off roading in it, just a bit of green laneing and possibly the courses at the shows. I'm also planning to take it to Morocco towards the end of the year.

I'm looking to fit a steering guard and diff guards however i've found mixed views on both.
I've been thinking of purchasing paddocks round galvanized diff guards along with the heavy duty aluminum steering guard they do.

Are these both good quality bits of kit? I get the impression steering guards are like marmite, some people like them some hate them. The diff guards seem to be mixed aswell although i quite like the idea of the round ones and they also appear to be easy to fit? Basically i'm looking for good value (not necessarily the cheapest) options.

Steering guards reduce ground clearance. Diff guards can trap water and cuase rust. However without em ive busted a diff and busted both steering arms
