Hello all,
On my drive to work I drive past several garages, with differing fuel costs
for diesel ranging from 81p through to 85 for Tescos to Shell respectively.
My question is, can I fill up with the el-cheapo diesel without worry?

I've recently moved to diesel after a sports car that drank only Optimax, so
am used to "exotic" fuels only...

Thanks,
AndyC

Only problem really seems to be lack of sulphur content in some to lube the
pump. Try adding Millers Diesel additive, not from Halfords but a decent
indipendant should see some on the shelf.

Good insight, however, doesn't that negate the point of buying cheap fuel?

Good point, however, cheap fuel would be a false economy if you required a
pump because the fuel was crap enough to grind out the bearings. Once got
some diesel ( in the good old days ) from a roadside bloke in Benin, cheap
but I had to filter out the gravel that came with it :))
