Hi everyone wonder if anyone could help,got a discovery 2 ,which I think the diff is locked in,it's not a manual diff it's the electrical type,any suggestions how I can unfree it?thank uou

Hello,
The D2 as far as I know only came with a mechanical center diff lock ( lever in cab, combined with the low / hi lever. ), and this was not fitted to all the vehicles as they come with TC fitted.
What exactly is yours doing? Why do you think the diff is locked?

Hi thanks for reply,I did some research too and some came with lever,then landrover introduced the traction control ,its started to turn like a plane,and when you watch it on gravel you can visually see that it's fighting itself?i could may well
Be wrong ,on tight lock sometimes it bangs,?cheers
