Diff oil

I probly know the answer before I ask it but:

Can I use one shot grease in my diff? Pinion seal weeps a bit and I was just wondering if grease might slow it down a few weeks/months/years.

i wouldnt,cant you change seal and flange if necessary

The oil seal costs diddly and the diff gasket even less than diddly. The diff is an expensive unobtainable part which can be maintained at nominal cost.
