Diff Lock Problem ????

I have try'd moving the lever left to right quite hard and even just come in after trying to reverse to "unwind" the diff lock but nowt has worked up to now ps there is no light coming up on the dash and I have even put a new bulb in to make sure

Have you not read the rest of Mad Hat Mans post, where he tells you exactly what you need to do to remedy the sticking Diff Lock?? FFS

Hi Just read the write up by mad hat man and its sounds good, will the set be the same in the defender seeing that the 2 boxs are interchangable

Hi too all, with regards to the diff problem that I had on my 90,
I have now found out the problem and it may be of help to anyone out there with the same prob,
The problem I had was that it was stuck in diff lock and no matter wat I did with the diff locklever it made no difference (pardon the pun) I then found out that it was lever on the diff box was worn and thus not allowing me to move the gear stick, The landrover mechenic slid underneath and move the lever on the box by hand to remove it out of diff lock,this problem is to be sorted on tuesday coming and I will let you all know as to the outcome thanks to all who replyed to my help request
