Didn't do my homework

Yesterday I got a replacement interior fusebox and bcu
Just plugged the fusebox in and the instrument panel lit up and the side lights came. So I took the battery off. Quickly checked and my car is a 2000 and the fusebox is off a 2002. Slightly different one extra relay on the front. Does anyone know if I have to swap some stuff around or I'm a wasting my time. I'm don't have any luck.

I cannot answer your question, but do believe the cars security system is all linked via various ecus, swapping anything causes issues.
