Not easier and if the HDD goes as it did on my computer you lose the info, also printed photo's can be compared side by side with the screen, I've had trouble getting screen dumps to print sensibly.

I store everything in several places like stand alone HDD, USB sticks, DVD,s and use a program called Windows so I can look at several things simultaneously,
if any of that ever reach France, I highly recommend:cool:

As I've said on here before and I'll say it again, diagnostics are not magic, they do not tell you what's wrong with your car they more often than not tell you the symptoms from which you have to derive the problem. Dealers are just as bad swapping out sensors for being out of range when the sensor is a symptom of an upstream issue.

Windows is crap, it struggles to do one thing at a time.
I can't be arsed searching different media for just the screen shot I need, they are filed as paper with the Faultmate stuff, plus some pages of RAVE and they work in the freezing cold unlike my laptop.

All in one laptop, Lynx, RAVE, saved stuff and internet, all works in cold and power from car if needed, backup on different media for safeguard.

If windows were crap as you say, the world would be a very dark place:smokin:

I can put side by side screens on the laptop, they are too small to be useful, then there is the time changing from page to page of stored data, paper is quicker IMO with live data on the full screen.
You go your way, I'll go mine. Perhaps I should clarify, Microsoft Windows is crap, the galss type are fine:rolleyes:
