If you can't get the EAS software to work, what makes you think any other diagnostic would work. If the problem is with the OBD connector, nothing will work. However it could just be a problem with the USB to serial adaptor if you are using one. Easier to fix your comms problem as a first step.
Going to have a look at that again today..the lead and software worked the other day but would not work yesterday..it initialised but I got 'no idle' and a load of 28 and 80 messages.

Duplicating posts is not very helpful. Go back to your original and you will see I told you that you had bad comms, seems in more than one way
