derbyshire laning

Thats only 10 mins from my house and I didnt realise anything was that close to me.
 
ye one runs up the side of it so too speak its only short . and the other is over the road from the house , thats a good long lane . i will show you them on the way home unless we do them ???
 
Just trying to understand whats going on, didnt add my name til late so havnt been following this thread the whole way through..

So as we stand theres no definative route planned?

Ive got about 3 different routes round the peaks, but wouldnt really fancy the responsibility of leading a group of 6!
 
sam who was a leader of the main group , and who had a route planned may have dropped out due to a poorly dog , so its either make do or not bother. carnt sammy get in contact with someone and give some routes ???

I wouldnt mind doing hollinsclough steps, the lane that goes up past the quarry pindale?

And depending how far up north we go stanage edge...

Last month i did most of the green and pink route and then headed up to stanage edge.

Well thanks for waiting for me and chezvegas to come through wood:( we had the land owner going crazy , saying it was not a byway and we were all tresspassing ? he said he had took pictures of all our trucks and was reporting us to the police :eek: i had a right ding dong with him . think me and chezvegas smoothed things out in the end with him , he seemed to calm down after 10 mins. but you were all long gone ... I wouldnt use that lane again guys, and i would tell others not to.... On the memory map does it say this is a public byway ? cuz the owner thinks otherwise, He is going threw court at the min about it....

Don't know about the byway siduation but we waited at the top for you for 20 min and then stew your group leader walked down it to see where you were and he came back and said you were gone, so we presumed you had gone as we were there for over 30min waiting. But never mind, you missed the best lanes tho.

Sorry I had to leave a bit early but had to be back home for 5 and only just made it.
Thanks for today though, it was bloody brilliant.

If it was the fella from the house on the right as you were going back ?? If so tell him to **** off, yes he wants the lane shut.... But the fella on the other side told me to come and drive it more !!!

I did wait for 45 ****in mins I even walked back down to the gate in the rain looking for you both after the second group came up an you still wasn't with them !!!!

9 landys made it up the lane with no problems,not even a hard lane.
why couldn't you make it up ???

This is a good exampal of why people must have a CB

It ended at 7:30pm with just me and Sam finishing the last few lanes.

I will be running a trip to Wales in the new year, organised properly, group of 5 and everyone must have a cb mud tyres
 
hey guys yeah defo about the cb situation sorta ****ed up on that lane but i got up with the defender and roof rack and lift kit so dont really know what the moaning about. had a brill day defo count me in for wales.
.....Shame about kieren landy i had to tow him fro just outside shefield to chapel-en-le-frith. but good day out.

Can't even remember anyones names so describe the truck as well please :eek:

I would be up for new year but can't afford to buy a set of muds I'm afraid.
