Hi all,
New to the site and to the Range Rovery family. No-one wants to know about me so let's get down to Ranger.
OK so it's a 1997 P38 4.6 V8 LPG conversion on 133k, considering the age it's immaculate inside however as recent events have confirmed, the engine area isn't. Started overheating last week which led me to this site (if only I found this before lol). It had the head gaskets changed in Apr 16 and water pump in may 16 so my thought process is that they can't be an issue. Having read a few threads and spoken with a local independent, I've taken the tstat out to see if that's the issue (currently heating up on the cooker).
The next stage will be to question the gaskets as it overheats in under 5mile, if it's not them then it could be the worse case of the liner going...
Anyway I have no idea what I'm doing so any advice, other than scrap the thing, would be most welcome.
