You made a statement that one step forward two steps back was Michael Jackson.
I challenge you that this is wrong and is infact Paula Abdul.....:p

Tell me where it says that it is Michael Jackson?

morning folks, same ****e, different day eh

don't waste yer time on the dick head, he's a boasting fool - if he'd anything to share he'd have done so by now (but am happy to be proved wrong)

let's move on,another fool will be along shortly

all i seek is clarification that doing what you propose below is legal for PH use vehicles

300tdi will burn any old ****e.
Engine oil is nice mixed with Veg.
It's aint illegal if you play the game and do it right FFS.
Stop all this scaremongering pish, it's all legal and above board.
Check out the gov websites on fuel.

Feckin pricks talking ****e....grrrrr

New or used.
If you use a centrifuge , (very cheap to buy) to clean your used engine oil and keep a diary and weekly samples to prove your oil is clean..... it's legal.
Used ****ty engine oil comes out golden and free from particulates after cleaning.
Mix 50/50 with veg!
It's called experimental use and 2500 litres per year is exempt.

What's with all the scaremongering folks?

I've never used "used" engine oil......have you??

nope but you have also said its ok to do :)

All we are asking is for proof but since you cant provide anything im guessing you're full of ****.

you have already claimed there are no flaws in the rover v8 designs and that it predated the gm v8 which it came from and again gave no evidence to the contrary.

Banter is one thing but giving info that could very likely have a members vehicle taken and crushed is not in any way good craic.

Yes, off course UEO works in 300tdi's.
The procedure to clean the oil is well documented...do a search FFS.
I have never used it but I know plenty who have and have an experimental user licence issued by the HMRC.

The banter is good folks.............:D

I have never used it but I know plenty who have and have an experimental user licence issued by the HMRC.

for the benefit of others could you point them to the reliant section of the HMRC site from where they can apply for this license

even the offcial form number will help

Here is the "exempt producer" paragraph...!
As for the experimental user licence...search the link below.......It's all in there.

4.2.1 Exempt producers/users

If you have produced or used less than 2,500 litres of:

* any biofuel, or
* any other fuel substitute or additive

within the last 12 months, and/or expect to produce or use less than 2,500 litres in the next 12 months, you are an exempt producer and do not need to register with us and account for duty. However, there are simple record keeping requirements, which are described in paragraph 4.9.1.

Production includes the manufacture or processing of road fuel, and the setting aside of any product that has not been charged with duty, with the intention of using it as road fuel.

Sean.......FFS.........chill out....

why should I - you are posting bull****e comments that could lead to people having their vehicles taken off them

i'm just trying to encourage you to give ANY indication that what you have posted is in any way legal, or is based on anything other than your misguided understanding gleaned from mates and the net

or maybe just another TROLL who has already been found in the rr section with a v8 that has covered close to 200k miles

To be fair I love my P38, they are reliable but need to be maintained routinely.
For me, if I was 65 I would choose something else.
I can pm you all the points on the P38 I maintain routinely.
I've done this for 198,000 miles and it still runs as it left the factory.

now a disco that has covered 104k miles

Facts................104,000 miles, engine on 249,000....all good

thats 300k+ miles from 2 alleged cars and NO PROOF to back up any bull**** statement.

Where you trolling next ICE? defender section? Gaylander or maybe you have a 500k mile series that has never had a problem either.
