I also read somewhere, not sure how true it is but you need to avoid oil that has an anti foaming agent in for some reason. Like I said, not sure how true that is though.
 
have no idea whats in the sunseed oil lol but its used for cooking, thats not a mega saving as such, but i have access too a makro card

the source i have for waste oil, use a lot of oil for cooking, im going to ask tomorrow if anyone uses , and if i can have it, or if they do..can i get some of it regular, and if not...il see if i can get a cheap supply of the new oil for a good trade price n see how much

the anti foaming agent is just silicone which shouldn't cause any probs at all.

sunseed is fine, just had a look, be careful not to use anything that has palm oil in it as it solidifies when cold.

Anti foaming agent is not good....avoid oil with this....
I'm sure barmatt is just antagonizing but better to say.....!
True to my word, I'll get info up on my little factory soon on a new thread.
The pricks can oil there knobs and pull there cocks elsewhere.....:p

and now on to the other one thats linked

used engine oil is also another idea, and cheaper too ? if it ment buying svo, would used oil be better in winter ??

thing im wondering...i know garages would pay to get the oil recycled, but why dont the garage employeess use it all in their cars/van etc if they had a diesel ?

sean, currently on my 3rd long thread on here reading in to this, you got a few comments in this one

1st port of call is to see if i can get the wvo source, or some of it

then il go from there

what do you currently run on? svo still ?? what mix at this time of year ? (if so ...what svo exactly/brand. and where from exactly at the moment do you find best ? ) you mention tescos in that thread from april, how much is it currently ?

would it be totaly fine to just put say 6 lites of svo straight in to a half full tank in this weather ? to just get that little bit of saving ?
