Defender wheels and tyres again!

Hello ,
just bought a defender 1997, 90, 300 tdi which has Kingpin radials 31/10.5/R15 tyres an a 15" rim.The dealer says this is OK (well he would eh!) The vehicle is absolutely bog standard with no suspension mods etc at all been done.
I there anything unsafe about this set-up. Clearance and steering lock appears OK and it drives well. Advice please.
