I changed my motor my wheel boxes and cable everything worked fine
But now its very dodgy suppose its my cock up somewhere i put wipers on and they sound like a jackhammer on the drivers one and it moves a little bit passenger one is fine and when driver one does go to the top it stops and doesn't go down and next swipe up it goes off the screen
Im thinking its the nut that holds wiper isnt tight enough and shaft turns but wiper doesn't cant tighten it any more though

Are the guide rails firmly fixed in the boxes? Also are the boxes remaining stable when in use?
I tightened the nut that holds the boxes to the bulkhead they were loose and made no difference when i lift wipers off the screen they turn normal for a bit then the go all the way down and hit the roll cage also the nut that secures the passenger side wiper isn't tight enough so shaft turns and blade doesn't i cant tighten it as the shaft just turns any ideas on how to hold shaft

Sounds like the splines in the wiper arm are slipping relative to the splines on the wheel box adaptor. Is the arm a nice tight fit on the spindle or wobbly?

My supposedl

Wobbly because the focking shaft turns when tightening the nut

Wobbly because the focking shaft turns when tightening the nut
Is its the whole shaft that is turning rather than the splined adaptor, If it is then either the whole gearwheel is turning because the gearwheel teeth are slipping on the drive wire or the shaft is slipping on the gearwheel. I cant remember if the shaft is just a friction fit or whether it is welded.
Are you trying to tighten the nut 'really' tight, the splines in the arm and on the adaptor should be capable of holding it unless they are really
worn, the nut should just be there to make sure the arms stay on the adaptor rather than transmitting the drive.

The nut turns and wiper doesn't but they should both turn together so i cant tighten it or loosen it as the shaft where nut is on is turning

I don't think were on about same model here your talking about splines mine doesn't have them

They all have splines, the later ones just have a nut as well. Older ones just had the arm clip on to the splines.

If the spindle is turning freely without the motor moving then there is an issue in the wheelboxes or drive cable, either misalignment, incorrect fitting, or the teeth are missing from one or both parts.

The top of the dash needs to come out again for inspection I’m afraid.

So removed top part of dash and wheel box covers the passenger side works as it should just the spindle turns and blade doesn't so if i removed nut driver side the cable was misaligning so when cover was removed cable fell out
