Defender td5 wheel bearing

got advisory on mot about movement in front wheel bearing . have searched and read previous threads and there seems to be conflicting ideas. question is can i tighten up the wheel bearing on a 2001 defender 90 td5 has anyone done this. thanks.
 
thanks for that . is it a knob head job or should i take it to some one , i have the torque setting for a replacement bearing would they be the same . am in the middle of replacing the steering drop arm , everyone said do it your self , they said it might be a sod to get the old one off , you all lied it is f**cking impossible. pullers , heat , pry bars , splitters
bought and done the lot . tomorrow its cutting disc time unless you know something better

"fanatic" im sorry i couldnt quite understand your west country accent, there are people local to me , but im not sure how that will help me get the drop arm off ?

Try and not cut right through and use a chisel tae break the last bit;)
 
See If someone is local, been a very long day fixing a vehicle after a 336 mile trip to collect it
