Defender speedo in Series III?

Hi everyone, I really need a new speedo for my s3, and I've found a place near me that has several good value defender speedos for sale. Does anyone know if the cable fittings are the same, and also whether there's any chance of it fitting the dash panel of my s3?

Actually just remembered they wouldn't have the fittings for the oil and main beam lights etc anyway so not a lot of point.
Sorry, forget I said anything...

Totally different ratios anyway so wouldn't have told you how fast you were going even if it did fit.
