yeah will do with screwdriver. I guess if I poke it about with screwdriver and make more holes, it would still be fine til the summer. I dont really want to spend big bucks at moment til then. sure it be fine yeah, til then if just the one bit as shown that is dodgey!

hey guys I unscrewed the cover over the turret and looks very simple to remove. But the haynes manual says it 3 spanners and that I need to jack things up etc. Do I really have to? cant it just be done in situ with wheels on ground etc.

also should I buy some heavy duty turrets? or just standards? salvage yard saids he got some good quality standard ones for a tenner. should I go with that?

whats diff in thickness with britpart and gens? both black I assume

a tenner isn't bad, but coat them with paint and goo before you fit them or they'll go the same way as the last ones

yes you can leave the wheels on the ground, but you'll have to jack the body up - an axle stand under the chassis rail will allow the wheel to drop enough for you to be able to take off the spring without compressing it

hello guys, I changed over the turret today on me front wheel. I noticed the bush looked passed it best, well just looked old. Also, I didnt notice any washers, so currently im using the old bushes and no washers. Is it possible, and should I bother replacing the two bushes on top of the shock.

So its all back on, but the shock can be moved slightly and makes slight knock when I push the landy down.

So any views on this guys? is it normal or do I have problems?

get em replaced - they cost very little, maybe even replace the dampers if you didn't already

will fail the MOT in that state

I had a looks on padock and ebay for em. Some are pretty cheap. Some are nice and yellow, RE: britparts. Are britparts dampers anygood? or is everything they do crud.

Any reccomendations? I want to use for mostly road use, greenlaning and maybe some "offroading".

hey guys. if I drive with a faulty bush on me front shock is it going to cause any damage? I can hear knocking as I go down road due to bumps etc. Ill replace the shocks soon, but will it be fine for few weeks or so?
