Currently refurbing my rear sliding windows in my 90. I’ve managed to round off 2 of the small csk screws that hold the frame together. Does anyone know what size/thread they are and where I can get some. I have googled them but can’t find them.

Are they not just a standard metric countersunk machine screw? I don’t think they are anything special. See if an m4-m6 bolt will screw in to confirm the thread. (I don’t think they are imperial) and then just order one the correct length.

Take it into your local engineering suppliers. I’m sure they’ll match it and it’ll be cheaper than from JLR.

M4 too big and the threads on the existing seem to be coarse. Doesn’t match anything on my metric thread gauge.
I’m going to go to local fasteners supplier and see if they have anything. If not I will open out to M4

I didnt know at the time. I had an M4 bolt which I tried but it was too big. I then remembered I had a thread gauge in a tap and die set
Blowing up your photo it does look very course. It almost looks like a cut down screw or self tapper and not a bolt thread !!!

The one in one of the windows I have just refinished was self tapper. But it looked like a wood screw so I assumed it was not original. It was also in there tight enough I did not bother trying to remove it!
