After some exhaustive expenditure she is nearly there. This is my 1st Defender and 1st Land Rover, so I am still learning (often the hard way)!

Thanks, its just the beadlockers that have been powder coated illuminous green, as has some of the suspension components. The idea was to make it look like a toy car - which it is. .

well if its as nice in the flesh as in the pictures its one of the nicest landys i have seen! and just to think its the same age as my old battleship, they couldnt be further apart lol the bright wheels really make it stand out when you have a much quieter body colour

im jelous

great job

now get some security so you can keep it. It will be on the top of the list to get nicked.
Disc lok, clutch claw, and shift lock just for a start. might want to add hood(bonnet) locks also

Thanks, glad you don't mince your words. Just been outside moved it, parked wifes car behind it on the drive and removed the steering wheel. It is too tall to go in my garage, so I think I will lock it up inside at work. Shame when you have something nice and people just want to nick it.

Many thanks, a lot of time has gone into getting the body panels staright, I didn't want to cover anything up with chequer plate, so had to get new door skins and new rear door. Was supposed to be Stornaway Grey metallic, which would have shown up any imperfections, so we got her as straight as we could, last minute change of mind so she was painted Ford Frozen White with a Gloss Black Roof and Gloss Black Extended Flexi Arches. Next job is the interior, I have Kingspanned the load area and will dynamat the cab before carpeting it properly with Polypropylene bound edges, was going to leave the dash but just seen one that has been vinyl covered with diamond stitching!

2 mole grips and they can drive it away

That's a splendid job on the bodywork. How about the running gear? Any close-up pictures of that? I can see some colourful suspension components peeping out seductively and it looks like you've got those castor corrected radius arms with holes in, but it would be good to see it all close up.
