Defender Maximum Ride Height Question

Standard is capable. I think this has extended axle breathers and a rollcage, but standard otherwise:


But it was only a short dip.

This one is also standard, but got stuck in less deep water. Result was a grenaded engine and ruined transfer box


Crossing water is fun, but I've learnt the hard way that it doesn't always go to plan.

A day out fording....


Result, failed starter motor.

This one we think was due to a failed pinion seal on the front diff that let water into diff/axle. Volume up and hear it fail and destroy the diff internals!
