Yes you are correct. What I meant to impart was I would like to find or create an aftermarket grill that will look different but fitting and tasteful.
Looks very good and, as you say, it takes time. Well done yours excellent.I have a genuine stage 1 v8 grille and surround on mine, 30 quid off EBay. Took me 3 years to find it though.
Understand but I would like something like you have which is going to make my vehicle a little bit different from the rest. I also live in Ireland and there is a distinct lack of supply of material, including readily available Defender grills. Once shipping is added it is almost as cheep to buy something different which enhances the look of the LR.
People rarely sell them second hand
cheap as chips.
