Is it a replacement door? The only way I got mine to fit tight at the top was to bend it a bit where the pillars start.Bit brutal I know but it's a landy.

Take the glass out and then bend the top in.

Or do as I did and remove the doors, lay them down with the tops raised about an inch, then jump on them ... remove the glass first though :D

Did mine much like Oldseadog pressing down across where pillars start but left the glass in wound right down. You need to bend it about twice the gap you are trying to close to allow for spring back.
Some kink's appeared on the inside base of the pillars but door cards cover them.
For a "proper job" you could cut, bend and then reweld the pillars if you want.

Did you recently replace your door seals? I had the same problem with one of my doors after replacing the seal with a new one from ****part. The seal would not allow the door to close completely and also played hell with the locking mechanism. Only way I could fix it was to put the old seal back on.
