Evening, just a quick question what mastic/glue will hold the the drivers door window in its keepers?

Its because he is moving to North Scotland.
Actually he wants to fix the glass to the runner/keeper that carries the glass up and down

Aha .... now I understand.
I had that problem with my last 300tdi.
I tried a number of sticky stuffs and ended up changing the channels the window ran in and silicon to hold the plastic keepers.
The window runs really smoothly and easily when the runners are in good condition, you don't need to 'pull' it down, gravity holds the glass in place.

Yes, these...
If the runners are in bad condition they get really stiff and you can wind the window down and the glass stays where it is.

Sorry for late reply. Sorted with body mastic. Window has been a pita for months, all good now. Next is cam belt and roof leaks. I'm loving it.
