Hi ..... its cheeky but my funds are limited
The chains are a generous fit covering a good part of the side wall, I would say they would be compatible on wider tyres too?Interested in the chains. Will check they fit my wheels and pm you

They are draped over a 195 tyre in the picture (1st post) just to demonstrate the depth and width of the chain. I have thought about modifying them to fit the Freelander
The newer chains are the same part number but with a red tension chain
These were on 235/65 tyres, there was some overlap on the chain, presumably to fit the 235/75 with ease.Recon they'll fit a 235/85 R16 tire?

According to first principles, every 10% rise in the aspect ratio of a 235 tyre gives a 147mm increase in rolling circumference

I think you would have to extend / add bits of chain to these to fit the 235/85 larger circumference
