Hi all new to the forum!!

Have a question for all out there i lost a part of my arch today at salisbury plain.
Anyone know what arches these are? Have attached an images. Bought the 90 with these on and no clues with old bills.

Another question have anyone had any problems removing the brake disc protectors? Keep getting stones caught in them! Drives me mad....

Never seen them before. Sorry. :(

They look like they might be cut up to achieve that look. Are the edges professionally done or are they rough like someone did it with a hand saw?

They look properly made, they just seem to be made to get round the law regarding wide tyres rather than having any 'off-road' use .. ;)
 
Can someone tell me the standard wheel arch size of a defender?
Looking at getting some new arches, maybe the flatdog ones? They are described as standard plus 75mm or 50mm.

Can't help with the arches but bin the mudshields on the discs. they're more trouble than they're worth.
 
If your going with new wider arches then make sure you get either proper flexi arches or the QT type rubber ones.

Most of the others will just crack and rip the holes out as soon as they make contact with something hard.
 
The flatdog ones are described as flexi arches which are indestructible!
They mention they are 50mm wider than standard ones. But not sure how wide standard ones are. Want them to be between 5.5-6 inchs wide.

Yeah there the UK dealer for flexi arches, there are other companies who claim to sell flexy arches or similar, there crap I've been through a couple of sets.

I think the best looking ones are the QT ones though to be honest.

They do a 6" kit too.
 
I can tell u exactly what they are.....

the arches are the extra wide version made by a company called Roccia plastics who designed them a few years ago and sent me a free set for agreeing to be their photoshoot vehicle... they sold them via scorpion racing and as far as I know went belly up around the same time so no longer exist.....

ones in my pics are the originals... about a month later they sent me the new wider centre pieces that u have fitted...

plenty of arches out there... all depends on how much work u want to do..... my new toy has arches from another vehicle I dare not mention but are available from 6" wide right up to the 9" version I have fitted.... ideal as they mate quite well to comp rear corners.....

Awesome info, the update is got some wide flexi arches will fit them tomorrow. From flatdog.
And have just removed the disc guards.
Will upload some pics with new arches tomorrow.
 
Quick new question for the gurus out there !

Popped in the garage to give the car a clean while waiting for the pressure washer thought would check tyre pressures. When i picked my car up from buying several months ago tyre pressure was 35psi! On hankook dynapro mt's 33x12.5x16. So dropped it the first month to 30psi, though would go lower this time to 26psi. Now tyres on front rub on full lock without a proper look yet how can this be? Where are they likly rubbing? Seems strange that they rub just from dropping tyre pressure???

course they will. :doh: :D

There is less pressure in them to make them take shape.

I run my 285's at 35psi most of the time. if I'm doing a pay and play day or a technical days laning then ill drop them down.

Ginge, 35psi makes the landy bounce around over every bump in the road. And i find ride more uncomfortable. Back end is all over the show.. With no weight over it.
