something affecting master cylinder, slave or clutch arm

is there a valve on the master cylinder that allows the fluid to return was told it might be that i was also told not a lot can go wrong with slave other than leaking

the master cylinder will shut off res as you push(therefore if pedal wedged down) you can disconnect slave without loosing all fluid.

I wonder if slave getting full throw ( should be adjustable under plate with six screws)

My apologies I have had **** loads of beer tonight, therefore tomorrow I will possibly be able to suggest more.

no problem i will get it sorted out in the end just trying to do it before the bloody thing emptys my wallet just had to do brake servo then fuel pump now this all within a month

there was a groove in the old pressure plate bloke reckons you get that if you ride the clutch i was thinking things are not disengaging properly hense the groove

also worth following the hydraulic line from master to slave and checking for a damping unit or similar on the line.
As I don't have a td5 it is possible it could have one fitted- Some cars they are fitted to smooth clutch action. eg Discovery
