Hi guys!
I follow a Landy page on IG and they have just put this post up, thought I'd share on here as the more views it gets the better!

sad to hear, was thinking of bringing mine up to sheffield (uni student) but this has certainly made me think otherwise. Even with security mods id be worried. Or maybe its not as bad as everyone thinks?

It's way worse than many of us care to admit.

If you're wanting transport whilst at Uni, discover the wonderous world of bangernomics and buy a £500 snotter. It's a great way for a student to have transport and I'll guarantee you and your new Uni friends will have more fun in a reliable low cost snotter than many other a vehicle.

that is the sad reality, currently been driving my grandparents old car instead of the defender for uni. Its a lovely comfortable car that makes the 5hr journey a relative breeze but still sad coming home to a defender wrapped up on the drive not being able to drive it.

without wanting to derail this thread any further, I hope the defender comes back to the owner soon!

Sadly, it will most likely be in Africa by now.

My friend had his 110 Puma stolen, he got home from work and checked his tracker and it was already on a ship in the North Sea.

lnsurance just paid out, and did nothing, sad that the ship couldn't be intercepted at the other end but probably not worth the cost to the insurance company.

He was able to track its movements in Africa from time to time for a while but eventually the battery in the tracker died.

Well, that's what he told me anyway
