Defender 90 or 110 questions

Hi, I inherited a 110, 200tdi which has a roof rack and is 2.30mt in height.
The heater is crap, takes ages to warm up. Drafts come from everywhere.
Its like driving a truck.
But I enjoy driving it more than any other cars I have had. Audi, BMW's, only car that comes close was a TR6 which I had.
Nothing stops it. Snow, mud or even rivers.
Reliability has been good and if anything does go wrong parts are so inexpensive.
I reversed my Renault Senic into the back of it. A new light for the Landy cost £3.59. The Senic cost me £120.

Are you sure you didn't hit the lighting conduit? If I take the works 4x4 into a multi-storey I have to take the lightbar off the roof and then spend my time looking up to dodge the lights and conduit.

Bog standard 110 is 2.035 metres tall, on standard tyres. You have to be careful how steep the ramps are in the car park, because they will increase the height of the vehicle momentarily. As already said, speed bumps can make the difference between just enough, and not enough space!

Yep height can certainly be an issue... whenever I go into town to park, I've gotta bring my fat (20 stone) mate with me to weigh the suspension down a bit before I can fit under the barrier

my 110 fits in the local multi storey. it claims 2.2m but have to keep an eye on things through the sunroof.

Main problem for me is the bloody barriers to get out, the turning circle and length requires 2 moves to get through the barrier and around the corner without catching anything.
