i have got a 1987 2.5 na got told the clutch was on it way out and clutch pedal was hight i been out in it and drove fine parked in drive and went to move it back in garden and it wouldn't move and could put in any gear with clutch pedal been pushed down but i put it in diff lock and i could move it back in to drive is this to do with a clutch going or could this be sum think elc any help or tip much appreciated.
don't no much about them this is my 1st proper land rover

hope someone can give me help and tips

You've got a broken half shaft or CV joint.
Much cheaper and easier to fix than a clutch.

cheers for then how can u tell which this is? sorry if sound daft lol
and how much would they cost to buy do you think

Have a look underneath with somebody trying to drive it. See what prop is spinning and your broken half shaft is on that axle, oh and hopefully it will be on the rear.
