Good evening all, hope you are all keeping well.
My name is Matt and I haven't posted on here much at all but here goes. I recently purchased a bare chassis defender 90 (1996)project vehicle another guy got bored with. I had to purchase a 300tdi to fit in it. The breakers yard who had removed it cut the main loom where it meets the bulkhead i presume. I am trying to find out if there is such a thing as a connector plug joint that should be there,if at all. I have been trying to research this all day but as of yet no joy. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Yes there is an electrical block connector that has been cut off. Try AutoSparks, they make complete looms but might be able to supply you a connector.

Hi 123-eddy09 and thank you.
I did see autosparks done a complete loom,i guess there is no harm in asking them if they can supply a connector. I will certainly try them today

Thank you lynall,I did wonder about replacing the plugs with something else but it would be nice to get it back to original if you know what i mean.

I always think original is best for future repairs/diagnostics, but 150 quid for a plug or two!
We often come across the superseal plugs on the trucks/trailers and its rare they fail

I know what you mean Lynall, I certainly agree with the 150 quid for a part loom being steep. I have contacted autosparks this morning and just waiting for a reply if they can supply just the plugs. If not I think it will be superseal all the way!:)

How do members get on with dealing with Autosparks? I emailed them on Tues, emailed them again yesterday and still no reply from their tech dept.
