Hi all
I'm putting this up for my father in law, so if anybody is interested in exact details then i'll pm you his number. He's a mechanic and was doing it as a project for himself but with a change of circumstances he's being forced to sell. He said the vehicle is now mechanically sound but the body is an unfinished project, needs a few bits finishing off (door not locking from inside etc).
I will get some pictures up this coming week.
I will list everything as he has told me:
It's a Turquoise Green, truck cab (inc Galv back), F reg, Defender 90 with a recent 200tdi conversion done by himself. Defender 120,000 miles, Donor Engine 98,000 miles. Discovery rear axle fitted. Head off, valves ground in and checked. Could use a repaint. 11 months MOT.
New parts fitted:
Clutch kit.
Cambelt kit.
Gaskets.
Oil and filters.
Rear discs and pads.
Rear ARB links.
Rear cross member with extensions to shock absorbers.
Rear self levelling joint.
Track rod ends and drag link.
Windscreen.
Battery.
Brake pipes.
4 x 235/70 R16 Insa Turbo Dakar Remoulds on steel wheels.
List of spares Included with the vehicle:
6 x Standard 205 R16 wheels and tyres.
4 x 235/70 R16 alloy wheels and tyres.
Rear axle with drums and diff.
Front axle and diff.
Starter motor and alternator.
He is looking for £4,500 ono
