Hello everyone!
I thoughts it'd be nice to have a thread on my Carmichael Defender named Wheely that I am prepping to do some nice overland in Africa - I bought it out in Ghana from the Fire Service and would like to drive it across the continent as I work in a start-up that installs solar home systems in off-grid villages
Currently it's loud and noisy so I bought some insulating material, but before applying it I thoughts i'd be good to respray the inside/outside to ensure we remove any blistering/surface rust before applying the insulation and converting the back into a campervan.
I fell in love with the Raptor bedliner so I will paint Wheely with it - Aintree Green on the lower half and matte grey on the upper half and roof (autobiography style)
I will keep posting pics on how we get on - and I am posting some threads with questions as we continue with the strip-down and rebuild for you experts out there
