Defender 2020 vs Mercedes G

I would like to share this video reviewing Defender 2020 vs Mercedes G , the last test is to tow a vehicle, and seems the Defender lose traction and can not handle to tow the Mercedes G while the Mercedes can do it , what do you think and how can this Defender can match the Mercedes in this test ? Different wheels ?

1. Its in a foreign speak. Subtitles or wrap up please.
2. Its not like for like. Land Rover also supply the new Defender in a 6cyl.
3. Nice camera work.
4. Its hard to know if it was rigged. The g-class driver could have been feathering the brakes.
5. And finally... @bankz5152 's double cab would have dragged that g-class arse first over anything on that site.

Regarding the spanish magazine video you can activate the real time translation into english.
The journalist says something like the new Defender 2020 could tow better the Mercedes with locking differentials, I just want to know your thoughts, maybe Land Rover can improve it with new Terrain Response too ?

Watched it, subtitles came up automatically.
G-wagon is a bit of a beast if I'm honest, shows its far less reliant on electronic wizardry. Don't think I'd have the new defender even if I could afford one.

The G wagon has gotten away with being a great looker for decades, why not the fender!!
